Basic Function
The purpose of the job is to focus on the South Asia I&D Logistics operations & Procurement functions, also need to cover trade compliance, inventory control, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth supply chain execution and cost effectiveness. This position can help Sr. logistics supervisor to deal with the SOD requirements in the internal control standpoint, and it will be the back up to the other logistics specialists to handle the regional logistics operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Logistics operations, manage the SG terminals operation, ensure operation safety, control logistics cost
- Logistics operations, manage SG drumming operations, control volumes and cost, coordinate with sales, CS, drumming vendors.
- Logistics Payable Management, process logistics invoices and transportation expenses, follow up payable process.
- Logistics Compliance, renew flammable liquid import licenses, ILR and manage user ID creation via system, maintain trade compliance records and update incoming parcel logs.
- Logistics procurement management, work as the focal point to deal with terminals, w/h, drumming vendors, transportation vendors, negotiate the price.
- Provide backup for other logistics operation positions

Education & Work Experience
Education:
Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain management, international trading.
Work Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience working in a preferable international/global business environment
Critical Competencies / Behaviours
- Knowledge of logistics operations, safety management, manufacturing, better in liquid chemical industry.
- Understand import/export and international trading process.
- Rich experience in vender management, well know how to negotiate and mange vendors.
- Able to work well in cross function’s communication and collaboration.
Skills & Languages
Skills:
Competency in using the Microsoft Office suite of products to Advanced level; plus SAP (Sales & Distribution, Materials, Inventory modules) including BWH and specialized export documentation software as appropriate
Vendor management is must Customer handling experience
Languages:
Writing and good understanding of English is essential, understanding of Chinese an advantage
