Basic Function

The Strategy Manager will support the Strategy Director on delivering actionable recommendations to senior leadership. He/she will operate flexibly and move between high-level strategy and tactical execution as required.

Roles & Responsibilities

Draft white papers / presentations for the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
Support strategy development and implementation within Circular and Low Carbon Solutions (C&LCS), incl. overall approach to supply-side (feedstock owners) and demand-side (brand owners).
Support individual areas and ad hoc initiatives within C&LCS.
Support Investor Relations (e.g., on communications to capital markets).
Develop / update new-market development and regional strategies.
Support in development and implementation of M&A strategy (incl. prioritized target lists).
Support Long-Range Planning (LRP) deliverables, incl. price outlooks.
Manage internal stakeholders based on mutual respect and a curiosity for dissenting views.

Min. Qualifications

Quantitative undergraduate / university degree required.
MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years of total work experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in strategy in a corporate setting or in consulting.
Corporate and business unit strategy (e.g., portfolio strategy, new-market development, and competitive intelligence).
Financial acumen (incl. corporate finance and economic valuation).
