The Senior Supply Chain Analyst supports strategic, analytical, and process-improvement initiatives across Global Supply Chain. The role coordinates budgeting and cost-management activities for distribution costs and SG&A, leads benchmarking efforts, and develops data-driven insights, value cases, models, and reporting to support business decisions. The analyst also leads or advises on network design, optimization, and cross-functional initiatives, translating complex cost, service, capacity, risk, and performance information into practical recommendations that improve visibility, efficiency, resilience, and supply chain performance. 

A Day in the Life

Business Analytics, Cost & Performance Management 

• Develop, maintain, and communicate analytical insights related to supply chain cost, service, capacity, inventory, demand, transportation, warehousing, and business performance. 
• Build business cases and cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions, quantify savings opportunities, and present recommendations to Supply Chain leadership. 
• Support cost visibility, reporting, forecasting, actuals reviews, and other business analytics initiatives. 
• Coordinate and support budgeting activities for distribution costs and SG&A, including consolidation of inputs, forecasts, actuals, and cost-related reporting across supported organizations. 
• Coordinate and support supply chain benchmarking activities, including data collection, validation, analysis, and development of insights and supporting narratives. 
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and prepare clear, succinct reports and presentations for leadership and business stakeholders. 

Network Design, Optimization & Scenario Planning 

• Support the design and optimization of global supply chain and logistics networks, including manufacturing flows, distribution centers, transportation, warehousing, and customer delivery channels. 
• Build and execute analytical, network optimization, simulation, or scenario models to evaluate cost, service, capacity, sourcing, demand, and footprint trade-offs. 
• Analyze routes, modes, load planning, and cost-to-serve opportunities to improve delivery performance and reduce total supply chain cost. 
• Identify supply chain risks and model alternative solutions that improve resilience and business continuity. 

Data, Digital Enablement & Process Improvement 

• Collect, consolidate, cleanse, validate, analyze, and maintain supply chain datasets and master data. 
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and analytical platforms that improve visibility and decision support. 
• Automate and standardize processes to improve efficiency, scalability, repeatability, data quality, and customer experience. 
• Support deployment and continuous improvement of analytical, optimization, and extended system tools. 
• Lead or consult on cross-functional process-improvement and change-implementation initiatives. 

Stakeholder Leadership & Collaboration 

• Partner with regional and global stakeholders across Supply Chain, Logistics, Commercial, Finance, Digital, and supported businesses to gather inputs, align assumptions, and implement solutions. 
• Serve as a key contact for analytical, cost, network, and process-related topics within the assigned area of responsibility. 
• Facilitate workshops, performance reviews, and analytics discussions with business teams and leadership. 
• Influence stakeholders, anticipate objections, and promote cross-functional alignment around recommendations and alternative solutions. 
• Handle sensitive business information with professionalism and a high degree of confidentiality. 

You Bring This Value

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field is strongly preferred. Candidates with a High School Diploma and at least 10 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. 
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, consulting, analytics, logistics, transportation, distribution, or a related field, including direct experience in supply chain network design. 
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to consolidate, cleanse, validate, manipulate, and interpret data. 
• Excellent written and oral communication, organization, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple functions and organizations and with audiences at all levels of the organization. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver results, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. 
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI or a comparable business intelligence tool; proficiency in Microsoft Office and related analytical tools. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Demonstrated project management, change management, process-improvement, interpersonal, and negotiation capabilities. 
• Ability to research complex topics and communicate financial, statistical, and operational information clearly and succinctly. 
• Experience with SQL or Python. 
• Experience with network design, optimization, simulation, or modeling tools such as Coupa, AIMMS, AnyLogistix, Optilogic, 4flow, or similar platforms. 
• Experience with ERP software such as SAP.
