Basic Function

 

The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in the execution of LyondellBasell’s Operating Model Transformation, supporting this newly created team and the overall transformation in driving solutions that connect directly to the corporate strategy of stepping up performance and culture. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Corp. Functions and C&LCS, this role is responsible for driving the successful implementation of workforce strategy, and related people initiatives connected to the LYB Operating Model program, while ensuring alignment with the transformation goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Coordinate people and culture deliverables within the Operating Model Transformation.
  • Provide leadership and collaborate with HR Process and data support to track progress, resolve execution challenges, and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director HR, Corp. Functions & CLCS, and the VP LYBOM to align people and culture objectives with the broader LYBOM transformation agenda.
  • Function as a lead/crucial point of contact between P&C strategies and other transformation tracks to ensure seamless integration.
  • Liaise and engage with LYB COEs to ensure we are levering the proper expertise and that people milestones are delivered on time.

 

 

Min. Qualifications

 

  • 15+ years of experience in HR, with expertise in partnering, workforce strategy, and broad transformation initiatives. 5+ years leading a team.
  • Understanding of LYB’s processes for building job descriptions, sourcing talent, organizational design, organization of HR data, and staffing and transition planning preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale transformation programs.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on program execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
