Basic Function

You are responsible for delivering trusted, automated digital intelligence to support Global APS strategic initiative and fulfill analytical and automation need, aimed to maximize the profitability of APS (Advance Polymer Solutions). You will play an important role in creating a step change in aptitude, speed, and accuracy of Business Intelligence, Decisions Processes, Reporting and Execution. You will do that by supporting the existing business self-service data analytics culture, coordinating IT architecture and software applications for seamless data access and creating user-friendly data applications and processes to solve business problems across all functions (Commercial, Supply & Asset Management, Procurement, Finance, COE, etc.).

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with APS stakeholders to gather requirements, design and develop user-friendly application using Power Apps with Dataverse, automate business process and workflow using Power Automate Cloud Flow leveraging AI-powered Copilot feature, create actionable data visualization and reporting solution from single source of truth using Power BI with connector (Salesforce, OneStream, IHS) and advanced DAX coding. Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications if required
  • Provide regional support (break-fix and enhancement) with SLA for citizen-developed Microsoft Power Platform solutions
  • Act as focal point between APS stakeholder and IT Data Analytics COE POD to fix bugs and implement new change request for POD-developed Power BI Dashboards and/or data model creation following the established intake process
  • Support discovery work in partner with the Digital Technology Business Interface Team in compliance with DT LYBOM operating model for corporate LRP initiatives
  • Execute and advocate for the APS Global Digital Intelligence Governance & Operating Model, includes but not limited to data harmonization across systems to drive cross data-source analysis, EDM + Power BI Dataflow Ecosystem Playbook, Enterprise Data Catalog curation
  • Assess and scale regional best practice and/or tools to Global, partnering with CommEx and Strategy team for change management and solution adoption
  • Support a digitalization culture within APS by demonstrating, inspiring, marketing, training, and enabling a business self-service data analytics culture and provide training to the organization
  • Evaluate new tools and techniques that could potentially bring value to APS Transformation and improve efficiency, such as process mining automation, desktop process automation, machine learning AI tool

Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative field (such as: Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS).
  • At least 5 years hands-on experience in data visualization and automation using low-code application, Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power pages, Copilot Studio) is preferred. Other example of applications are Alteryx, Tableau, Automation Anywhere, Celonis.
  • At least 5 years hands-on experience in data engineering and data modeling, examples include SQL, Python, etc.
  • 3-5 years business analysts and/or process improvement. Hands-on experience in OneStream, SAP, Salesforce also welcome.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively as a team member and achieve results through the collaboration with other people both within and outside of the organization across regions, globally
  • Familiarity with Agile principles, project management, Azure DevOps
  • English speaking and writing skills, additional language would be a plus
