Basic Function

The Senior Timekeeping Analyst will be based in Houston, Texas and is a role within the Human Resources Department. The position will work closely with multiple teams in managing the timekeeping process. This newly created role will help support the business as the timekeeping super-user. This position will serve as the primary contact for the business, responding to and resolving issues, providing functional support for system enhancements & upgrades and reporting requirements. The role will initially be dedicated to the US but will evolve to a global position. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the functional timekeeping subject matter expert. 
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of pay practices, time rules and policies, servings as the subject matter expert for daily operations
  • Liaise with other areas of the business, COEs such as Payroll, HR, Compensation, HR Operations and other stakeholders to develop business requirement documentation
  • Assist HR Operations and local unit management with time system related escalations
  • Partner with local HR leadership and HR Operations to support new policy implementation relative to timekeeping design
  • Responsible for change management and the delivery and design of training and supplemental materials for a diverse population
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as requested by payroll, HR or the business
  • Support special projects as requested

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business or Information Systems or related field
  • 8 years experience in large organization timekeeping systems
  • Experience in gathering business requirements
  • 8 years experience in large organization time management systems
  • Experience in timekeeping system implementations 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations
  • Strong project and time management skills 
  • Ability to balance demands of projects, maintenance and support, customer expectations in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent skills with; Word, Excel and SharePoint.
