Basic Function

This role will have primary responsibility supporting the Sales organization with various analytical support including LRP, Plan vs Actual, COM, SalesForce, BW, Pricing, etc. Additionally, this role will have a dozen small volume "stream" accounts in the Greater Houston area as well as some distribution sales accounts. This is a developmental role that will be used for training individuals to become full time sellers.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform business analysis for the Americas sales team
  • Coordinate the rebate process for all distribution products
  • Interact with key stakeholders from supply chain, commercial and finance in order to obtain the needed information for all analytical work
  • Gain knowledge of the company products and their application to specific customer needs and requirements
  • To promote and sell company products for inside sales accounts
  • Quote prices, terms of sales and manage any needed contracting actions for the customers in line with stated business/sales strategies
  • Follow up and close sales on leads independently
  • Negotiate independently and with business support as needed to conduct business
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales expectations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Business of Sciences preferred.
  • Approximately two (2) years of work experience with prior roles in Supply Chain or Procurement is highly preferred. Would also accept experience in Sales, Analytics and/or Engineering
  • Experience with SAP, Advanced Analytics/ Analysis for Office (AO), Power Bl, COM, and SalesForce, preferred.
  • Available to work after-hours (occasionally)
  • Willing to travel up to 15%
  • Mobility preferred
  • Ability to perform a value-assessment (cost or margin analysis) on new opportunities preferred.
