The SAP Manager, Lead to Cash reports to Senior Manager, SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) in the ERP Modernization organization. It is a key leadership role within the SAP CoE responsible for driving technology innovation, best-in- class business solutions and talent development in the Supply Chain domain. The Manager is accountable for design, development, deployment and operations of solutions supporting LYB’s Lead to Order, Order to Cash and Produce to Deliver business process and other interlocking processes. The technology footprint encompasses SAP solution suite (ECC, S/4, Service Cloud, TMS and others) and multiple interfacing applications with on-premise and cloud deployment in the areas of pricing, order management, transportation and others. The SAP Manager position emphasizes building and nurturing a high-performance team of SAP professionals and ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions are consistently delivered to meet business objectives and priorities. The position collaborates with leaders in Digital Technology’s Business Interface, Enterprise Architecture and Project Delivery groups, as well as with other SAP functional and technical leaders within ERP.

The candidate should have a proven track record of leading global multi-cultural teams, creating, scaling and operating enterprise Supply Chain solutions in SAP ERP, TMS and integrated applications, implementing S/4, and managing SAP operations with application services partner.

A Day in the Life

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Build, coach and lead a high-performing team of SAP experts, ensure continuous learning and competency development.

· Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.

· Contribute to achieving ERP goals by aligning team goals to them and ensure continuous monitoring of results.

· Create strong S/4 talent pool.

· Perform team capacity planning; assign resources to demand based on priority, capability and growth opportunity.

· Implement solution design and development governance following leading industry practices and aligned to LYB Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security guidelines.

· Promote a culture of using standard SAP solutions; identify opportunities to de-customize, modernize and reduce technology debt.

· Lead the team for design and development of a clean core solution in S/4.

· Ensure high quality solution through review of design and development at appropriate lifecycle stages.

· Organize cross-functional collaboration for delivering optimal solutions.

· Forge strong partnership with Application Maintenance Services (AMS) provider for managing day-to-day operations of Supply Chain domain solutions with a goal to achieve superior user experience.

· Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through regular operations review.

· Maintain documentation of end-to-end solution; improve documentation where required, for example for old custom programs.

· Contribute to feasibility assessment and solution selection in collaboration with Business Interface, Enterprise Architecture and business stakeholders.

· Assign appropriate team resources to project in discussion with project manager; recommend capacity and/or skill augmentation, when necessary.

· Take accountability for timely delivery of high-quality solutions, which may be developed in collaboration with system integration partners.

· Collaborate with project manager to identify and manage solution risks.

· Drive, and where appropriate support, adoption of new SAP technologies like S/4 private and public cloud, AI/Joule, BTP, Analytics and others to optimize business processes and improve user experience.

· Guide functional analysts to build capability on S/4 features like Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and intelligent technologies within S/4 to design user-friendly solutions.

· Emphasize the critical role of data and support organizational efforts for data mapping, cleansing, and validation.

· Act as the primary liaison between the SAP CoE Lead to Cash team and stakeholders in business and other Digital Technology groups, ensuring effective communication.

· Support ERP leadership team in executing relevant strategic imperatives.

· Manage budget for the CoE team targeting efficient allocation of resources.

· Identify opportunities to optimize costs and create value.

· Ensure quality data and timely compliance with financial targets like monthly forecasts.

· Deep understanding of end-to-end Lead to Order, Order to Cash and Produce to Deliver business process and interlocking processes.

· Expertise in SAP ECC, S/4 public and private cloud solutions, technical architecture, integration technology, specializing in Supply Chain solutions.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; ability to work with both internal business and external digital technology partners.

· Balance strategic thinking with operational agility. Identify SAP capabilities, current and future, to meet strategic business goals, while ensuring flawless operation of extant solutions.

· Strong understanding of IT governance, planning, budgeting and cost management.

· Ability to travel approximately 30 percent domestically and internationally.

You Bring This Value

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Engineering, or other related discipline

Work Experience

· Minimum 15 years of SAP experience with 4-5 full cycle ERP / S4 Implementation, Upgrades and Operations.

· Hands-on experience in SAP Supply Chain lifecycle activities: solution designing, configuring, quality assurance, issue resolution.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in managing operations of a portfolio of SAP solutions and interfacing applications, in partnership with an external party.

· Certification in SAP Supply Chain suite preferred.

· Experience of working in a matrix organization and leading a team.

· Experience of managing SAP projects preferred.

· Knowledge of SAP architecture, market trends, operations and business drivers.

· Ability to propose and present a convincing business case and product roadmap to business leaders.
