Basic Function
As a member of our dynamic North American Advanced Polymer Solutions Marketing Team, the Pricing Specialist is responsible for the pricing and billing of invoices for sales contracts and orders. Responsibilities also include pricing of purchase contracts and obtaining the appropriate DOA signatures to process purchases for payment. The Pricing Specialist will also handle Intercompany and Interdivisional pricing, and coordinate chargeback resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Formulates reports and analyzes information to supply the Business the data required to develop factors in formula pricing calculations and competitive pricing discussions with customers.
- Participates in monthly price changes involving calculating and updating customer price agreements based on changes in relevant commodity market prices.
- Responsible for weekly/monthly/quarterly price reporting and price updates.
- Documents market pricing information into analytical tools for reporting.
- Assures invoice accuracy and timeliness, monitors metrics and supports efforts to maintain/enhance operational excellence and improve customer satisfaction.
- Communicates and enforces business rules through interaction with all levels of APS Organization.
- Researches, coordinates and provides pricing knowledge and expertise to respond to Accounting, Internal and External Control audit compliance.
Min. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a major in Supply Chain Management, Information and Operations Management, Logistics Technology, Industrial Distribution, Marketing, Management, Economics, Accounting/Finance or related degree from an accredited university.
- 8+ years related experience required in lieu of degree.

- Demonstrate complex problem resolution proficiency and capability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.
- Be able to effectively communicate critical pricing information to all levels of the organization.
- Seeks out and is open to knowledge, ideas, and feedback to improve effectiveness.
