This role, which reports to the Senior Manager of External Reporting, plays an integral role in the success of the core team responsible for the Company’s U.S. GAAP financial reports, including annual and quarterly SEC filings as well as earnings release and other external reporting requirements and special projects. This position is responsible for fostering an environment of strong ethics, morale, leadership and teamwork, driving quality and efficiencies in the reporting process, understating broadly the business environment and factors impacting results of operations and developing and maintaining strong relationships across many departments in this multi-national organization, including Corporate Accounting, Investor Relations, Finance, Legal and Treasury.
 

A Day In The Life:

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings, including the consolidated financial statements, footnotes and management's discussion and analysis of financial condition and results of operations.
  • Ensure US GAAP and SEC compliance for externally reported materials. 
  • Review the Company’s XBRL exhibits in Workiva Wdesk.
  • Review consolidated and segment financial results, variance analysis and related explanations for accuracy.
  • Compile and review tie-out support for publicly released financial information.
  • Review earnings releases and other investor presentations to ensure compliance with Regulation G and consistency with SEC filings. 
  • Assist with assessing the reporting and disclosure requirements of complex business transactions. 
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with individuals in other departments, both locally and globally, including Legal, Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting and FP&A teams. 
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to streamline the financial reporting process and enhance productivity.
  • Assist Legal with various periodic SEC reporting requirements as needed.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to less senior staff members.
  • Independently lead meetings on various topics with management.

You Bring This Value:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.


Work Experience: 

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial accounting/reporting. Big Four experience is highly recommended. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are essential.
  • Working knowledge of XBRL, SAP and OneStream is preferred; IFRS is a plus. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Workiva Wdesk is a plus.
  • Deadline driven and detail-oriented; ability to work efficiently and achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, while maintaining high quality. 
  • Must be well organized, able to prioritize and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement, streamline processes and ensure achievement of Company goals. 
  • Ability to work extended hours during various times of the year as needed. 


Licenses & Certifications:

  • CPA is Preferred.
