Basic Function

The lead manufacturing analyst will partner directly with the Global Manufacturing Performance team providing accounting and analysis support for North America Manufacturing.  This support includes satisfying closing requirements, coordination of operating budgets, reporting actual results against budgets and consolidation of forecasts. This position will also provide special project assistance to Manufacturing Americas Management and possible ad hoc support to the Lake Charles region. This location is at 1221 Mckinney, Houston, TX 77010.

Roles & Responsibilities

•Encompasses all things accounting-related supporting the Global Manufacturing Performance team for North America Manufacturing, including accounting and month-end close activities, cost and profitability analysis, manufacturing and corporate reporting, as well as additional core and ad-hoc functions for various support organizations.
•Providing key information on historical and forward-looking trends and related cost analysis at the micro and macro level.
•Among other tasks, this business partner will guide the following processes:  annual budget, forecast consolidation, LRP functions, monthly cost reporting, business review reporting, benchmark data collection and analysis, as well as other financial support for the manufacturing site and support organizations.
 

Min. Qualifications

•A Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, finance or other related business degree is required.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial or manufacturing accounting.
•ERP and data retrieval / analysis experience preferably with SAP and Business Warehouse.
•Highly self-sufficient and knowledgeable and able to employ quality analytics to provide impactful information to allow management to make sound decisions

•Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are essential
