This position supports the Global Accounts Payable in the transformation of Invoice Processing, Travel & Expense, and Vendor Master Data while focusing on the delivery of the overall P2P strategy processes and performance outcomes.  The Lead AP Data Analyst will identify and monitor common process bottlenecks and create a mechanisms for regular process reviews and continuous process improvement to measure our KPI performances. In addition, the Lead AP Data Analyst will support both the Senior Manager, Global Accounts Payable and the Director, Global Shared Services with ad hoc project requests including the roll-out of process related standards, methods and technologies governed by the Global Process Owners, governance rules for making change, and providing structure as well as expertise on how to conduct process improvement initiatives.

A Day In The Life:

  • Analyze large volumes of data, create visually engaging dashboards for reporting, interpret results, and provide recommendations for business performance improvements.
  • Defines and monitors key performance indicators success, to regularly publish performance reports for executive, business leadership, and customer audiences.
  • Ensure timely and accurate performance reporting for different activities, including KPI reporting, efficiency/productivity reporting, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Design, implement, test and validate dashboards, analyses, and reports within various analytical tools. 
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, process owners and end users to understand their objectives and requirements to translate them into various data application requirements and use cases.
  • Lead workshops with process improvement and business teams and use various data applications such as  Celonis, Power BI or SQL to identify and qualify opportunities for operational and process improvements.
  • Employs process flows, cycle time, process time and waste concepts as appropriate. 
  • Continuously improve the dashboards and views in line with business requirements, technology development and methods for data analysis.
  • Act as a key point of contact for management and Global Process Owners to ensure standardization of reporting.
  • Documents types of process decisions and potential impact of each decision.

You Bring This Value:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, MIS or equivalent.


Work Experience: 

  • Approximately 6-8 years of experience in finance with strong evidence of promoting innovation and efficiency by streamlining and standardizing business processes while leading others in an organization with similar operational scale and geographic footprint.
  • SAP S/4 FI/CO system knowledge, be able to document and train the team. Knowledge of how margin analysis works in SAP S/4 would be a plus.
  • Experience with Internal Controls and SOX/404 requirements.
  • Have a very good understanding of the S2P/P2P processes and KPIs with experience on the Concur functionality.
  • Experience in analyzing large volumes of data and are able to combine data from many different sources.
  • Experience in a global, fast-paced, dynamic and deadline driven environment.
  • Deep understanding of the business and finance processes within the Petrochemicals business model, highly desirable. 
  • Strong computer and analytical skills with various tools such as Celonis and Power BI Skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.
  • Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.
  • Data Analysis: Knowledge of and ability to utilize data analysis tools to sort through and analyze enterprise data in order to identify factors influencing business performance and to gain greater insight into trends within a business, industry and customer base.
