Basic Function
The purpose of the job is to oversee and deliver strategic human resources business partnership to the Company’s senior leaders, management team and employees in the business units and service groups under the incumbent’s responsibility. In addition, this job is responsible for delivering solutions to support forward thinking workforce planning and modelling in the effective management of the company resources, including recruitment, development and retention of employees that meet both the short and long-term resourcing needs in support of the Company’s strategic priorities.
The incumbent will coach, consult and facilitate leadership and employees on successful human capital strategies, talent initiatives and business insights across the relevant business units. The incumbent will be responsible for a team of senior professional HR Business Partners. The incumbent will also work closely with the centers of excellence within the People and Culture Function in support of the business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide HR leadership, coaching and support to business units, supporting business partners to ensure delivery of consistent and reliable HR strategy in line with business strategy
- Drive and support enterprise HR strategy, programs, policies for their business area and leadership team
- Implement and coordinate talent strategy in partnership with stakeholders to cultivate diverse leadership talent. Design and implement human resources strategies designed to attract, develop, and retain high quality individuals to the company
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition teams for effectively establishing the needs of the company in terms of resourcing and workforce planning to ensure that an awareness of the organization’s needs in these areas is maintained and that action can be planned to address these needs
- Pro-actively gather feedback and input from the designated clients on needs and effectiveness of plans in effect
- Provide input on Human Resource policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance Ensures consistency across the organization on implemented tools, processes and procedures by maintaining open communication with peers on HR leadership team
- Manage relevant HR documentation and advice on required updates following changing business needs or regulation
- Continuously review, analyze and recommend improvements related to effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning
- Responsible for developing and maintaining budget and planning for team under own responsibility
- Manage the annual performance cycle and merit process for own team
- Project management for HR specific projects as they may come up at any time
Min. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive, professional experience in human resources required
- Experience in multinational and matrix-oriented organization strongly preferred, proven success and experience in working in different cultures
- Several years of managerial experience, coaching and leading talent
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree, MBA, preferred
- SHRM or other human resources certifications preferred
