Basic Function

The Employee Network Support Specialist will report to the Senior Manager for Employee Networks (EN) and will coordinate and provide technical research, administrative, and facilitation assistance for the Senior Employee Network Manager. They will be responsible for communications, logistics, and compliance to maintain high-functioning, impactful employee Networks. The Employee Network Support Specialist will interface with multiple global Network leaders, cross-organizational business representatives, and groups across the organization’s diverse workforce.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and operational support to EN within the organization.
  • Closely work with the Sr. Employee Networks Manager on day-to-day administrative deliverables and ensure ENs each network is compliant with EN governance and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Employee Networks Manager to ensure EN activities align with broader DEI goals. Provide logistical support for DEI initiatives as needed.
  • Organize EN meetings, including setting up virtual meetings, managing technology, and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
  • Run and provide preliminary analysis on membership, participation, and event outcome reports. Provide insights to Sr. Employee Networks Manager on the impact and trends of ENs on organizational culture.
  • Maintain records of EN activities and track progress toward group goals via the SharePoint site. 
  • Act as liaison for Sr. Employee Networks Manager and ensure ENs have the necessary resources, governance, and support to effectively support Employee Networks initiatives.
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of EN programs, events, and activities that align with the organization’s diversity goals.
  • Assist ENs in planning and executing impactful events, programs, and activities that promote inclusion, education, and employee engagement. Coordinate resources and logistical support as needed.
  • Assist with managing EN budgets by tracking expenses, submitting invoices, and ensuring financial accuracy for events and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the broader DEI Team.

Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/HR or related bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 3-5+ years of experience required.
  • Experience in project management and/or event management.
  • Experience in people/data analytics.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in a corporate setting.
  • SharePoint, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and proficiency in building and maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Must be data-oriented and have strong analytical skills.
  • Sound organization skills, with the ability to work on several projects at one time, manage simultaneous tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Works Independently and collaboratively to deliver timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and be resourceful; flexible and willing to pivot to keep pace with evolving needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good judgment with the ability to work effectively under multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Experience in developing detailed reports and minutes.
