Come Join an Inclusive Team:

Responsible for brand owners’ interface: (i) Direct interface for key brand owners within NA region (ii) Regional interface for other global brand owners; (iii) Support in customer development, including preparation and execution of contracts, negotiations & closed-loop partnerships; (iv) Engagement of Sr. Application Developer for new application development. Create demand at brand owners and have responsibility for managing the relationship for the LyondellBasell Business Units. Key to success in the role will include excellent knowledge of the industry value chain, ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at key levels within the brand owner organization, ability to sell and articulate the value proposition for the full LyondellBasell products & solutions portfolio to the brand owner. Ability to collaborate internally within LYB to manage, coordinate and execute the brand owner strategy and key actions  

A Day In The Life:

  • Lead end customer (Brand Owner, Retailer, OEM) engagement through Marketing Excellence best practice framework.
  • Manage relationship with key stakeholders at the brand owner external parties (customers, brand owners) to create demand, sell, advocate and influence to position the Circular & Low Carbon Product Solutions for profitable and sustainable growth. 
  • Rapidly grow demand of the LyondellBasell C&LC products and solutions with the different brand owners, following the direction defined by the Director Brand Owner.
  • Manage the C&LC business funnel; qualify Leads, establish contacts, grow business. .
  • Implement the model to ensure ‘loyalty/stickiness’ for LYB C&LC based products and solutions with the brand owners.
  • Support and work with others in the development of marketing and promotional content for the external reporting and communication efforts. 
  • Support and work with others to develop high quality and effective marketing and communication materials that align correctly with the overall Circular & Low Carbon Solutions Business strategy. 
  • Communicate internally and externally examples of our Circular & Low Carbon Product Solutions. 
  • Support and work with others to develop, position and sell the value proposition at the brand owners for the C&LC product solutions. 
  • Support the development of business cases for future GIGP (Growth and Innovation Global Projects). 
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales and Application Development and R&D in assessing product and application development opportunities.
  • Provide support and work with Product Marketing, Value Proposition Strategy Manager and others to develop, implement and manage product pricing in support of overall business and market strategies. 
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing and others to develop and execute sales contracts within agreed guidelines and commercial delegation of authority (DOA).

Value You Bring:

Education & Work Experience

  • 4-year University degree (Bachelor's Degree) required – Technical Degree preferred.
  • Master / MBA would be preferred
  • Typically 6 years of FMCG experience in marketing, commercial, sales or finance.
  • At least 2 additional years of work experience in Marketing, Key-account management, sales, sourcing, business development or Technical Service
  • Strong knowledge of market segments, products, application and customers preferred.
  • Value and Value-Chain understanding.
  • Must have a demonstrable track record of success and proficiency with prioritization and decision making.
  • Must have strong Project Management Skill
  • Professional exposure to new business models and disruptive innovation
  • Must have a demonstrable track record of success and proficiency with prioritization and decision making.
