Basic Function

The Analyst, HR Reporting People Analytics II role will provide HR expertise to the LYB Operating Model team. They will assist in enterprise-wide data driven operating model decisions and data tracking activity.  They will deliver analytical insights on the current business through data capture and analysis

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain design analytics dashboards
  • Manage the creation of a dashboard that will support organizational efficiency and effectiveness reviewing organizational spans and layers
  • Work collaboratively with LYB Operating Model team to understand planning and analysis business needs and therefore identify data and reporting needs
  • Generate insightful solutions based on data analyses and communicate the results to management to provide actionable information and insights
  • Support on-going executive presentations regarding status and progress of Operating Model
  • Analyze and interpret data thru the lens of the HR function supported ensuring the analysis is relevant and aligned with the overall HR function strategy
  • Train others on reporting functionality, data dashboard navigation, and building stories with data
  • Provide functional expertise and offer solutions in quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results to help inform, influence, support, and execute decisions 
  • Support the integrity and consistency of data within the HRMS System (SAP SuccessFactors) and work with the HRMS team if additional reporting is required to deliver transformation insights
  • Promote data governance and stewardship, data quality and advancement of HR technology capabilities
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices

Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in a related field
  • Typically, 8+ years of experience within HR, or other relevant functional domains 
  • Demonstrated experience in management, tracking, analysis, and reporting of large amounts of data 
  • Experience with HRMS, or other data and information management system within a human resources, Talent Acquisition, Performance or other related function
  • Experience developing data queries, dashboard, writing and presenting reports, and turning data into information to identify trends and inform decision making
  • Passion for data, problem solving, strategic thinking and storytelling 
  • Demonstrated knowledge in reporting (including report generation, scheduling, etc) dashboards, scorecards, and data visualization
  • Inquisitive professional with a relentless drive to understanding the metrics and the deeper story behind the data 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service background including translation of requests into requirements and communication of technical information to a non-technical audience 
  • Strong stakeholder management including managing expectations
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and experience navigating how to effectively use data while protecting individuals’ privacy
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in leveraging data for analyzing business results
  • Understanding of using organizational design tracking tools as an integral component of transformation initiatives focus on accelerating business performance
  • Understanding the impact associated with acquisitions, divestures, and the organizational design implications
  • Analytical experience including the ability to gain insights from data
  • Working knowledge of Human Capital Systems (HCM)
  • Working knowledge of Orgvue or organizational design reporting system
  • Working knowledge or familiarity of SuccessFactors or similar tools
