JOB DESCRIPTION:
(1) Act as a Lead Consultant and Subject Matter Expert on APS business processes and related solutions, with a focus on applications and related integrations.
(2) Maintain relationship with business colleagues with excellent communication.
(3) Act as the IT point of contact for the APS business for all of their IT needs.
(4) Work closely with project owners to ensure delivery of services to achieve highest value within APS portfolio.
(5) Gather and perform thorough analyses of all the information available to successfully prioritize demand from the business.
(6) Work closely with business colleagues, to quickly understand new requirements or problems, and then suggest a possible solution.
(7) Lead solution design activities with client groups in a specific business area to create and to document the business requirements.
(8) Oversee and follow up enhancements and small and mid-size projects implementation activities including development solution documents and work with functional and technical developers to ensure business requirements are clear and development activities are on schedule.
(9) Bring in the right IT experts to ensure we have the end-to-end solutions (applications, security, business, projects) and that solutions are designed for agility, responsiveness, stability.
(10) Interact with LYB corporate IT, APS business, APS manufacturing, and APS functional stakeholders at appropriate levels.
(11) Set up APS governance for execution of top APS IT/Process projects.
(12) Maintain broad technology breadth with the ability to define solutions that span IT globally.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or a directly related field of study, plus the following experience:
(1) 10 years of experience in applying methodologies and digital transformation strategies within Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
(2) 10 years of experience in evaluating organizational capabilities and services to ensure alignment with business requirements.
(3) 10 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and leading high-level solution design for complex IT systems.
(4) 10 years of experience in building partnerships to strengthen collaboration by fostering strategic, value-driven partnerships between Business and IT, including coordination with Project Management, Digital Transformation teams, and Business Interface roles.
(5) 10 years of experience in delivering results by driving execution excellence through clear accountability, team alignment, and delivery of IT solutions that generate measurable business impact.
(6) 10 years of experience in supporting continuous organizational growth through upskilling initiatives, strategic planning, and value-focused leadership.
(7) 10 years of experience in driving innovation by aligning business needs with digital roadmaps and fostering empowered, collaborative solution development across business and IT functions.
(8) 10 years of experience in promoting inclusion by advancing a culture of empowerment, diversity, and accountability through targeted upskilling programs and inclusive leadership practices.
(9) 10 years of experience in capability-building in technologies such as SAP IBP, EDMs, costing platforms and pricing mechanisms, SQL, and Power BI.
(10) 10 years of experience in engaging business stakeholders effectively by understanding their language and core priorities, translating those needs into aligned technology solutions.
(11) 10 years of experience in acting as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring alignment between functional needs and technology delivery.
(12) 10 years of experience in leadership in Digital Transformation initiatives, from concept through implementation, with measurable business impact.
(13) 10 years of experience in core business processes across Supply Planning, Procurement, Commercial, Finance, and Manufacturing, with experience integrating digital solutions
across functions.
(14) 10 years of experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitation, using structured approaches such as DT Road Mapping, RACI, and leading collaborative Workshops.
(15) 10 years of experience in project management, change management, and user adoption practices
(16) 10 years of experience in coordinating and collaborating with business stakeholders to assess new projects, ensure strategic alignment, facilitate governance decisions, and provide full transparency into portfolio investments, priorities, and business impact.
Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Work in office minimum 3 days a week per company policy; must reside within commuting distance of the company’s Houston, TX office. 5% domestic travel required.
