Finance & Accounting Development Program – Full-time

Through three one-year rotations across different finance functions, you’ll gain the skills, insights, and exposure needed to become a future finance leader at LYB. Where You’ll Work: While our Finance team spans the globe, with members in Houston, London, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands, your rotations will be based in our Houston headquarters—an exciting hub of innovation and industry. 

Rotational Opportunities: 

• Accounting, Treasury, and Reporting: Gain key insights into operational results and help drive business performance through financial reporting, inventory, general accounting, treasury functions, and governance. 

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Engage in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis that supports major corporate decisions at the highest levels, including the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors. 

• Internal Audit: Provide valuable evaluations of the company’s internal control environment, identifying opportunities for improvement that add value across the business. 

• Tax: Manage tax compliance, planning, audits, and reporting, while minimizing risks and supporting business decisions. 

Who We’re Looking For: 

• A Bachelor’s degree (or soon to be) in accounting, finance, or a related field 

• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher 

• Finance certifications like CPA or CMA are a plus, or a commitment to pursuing one. 

• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate across the organization. 

• Highly self-sufficient with the ability to prioritize tasks and support others, especially in a fast-paced environment. 

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of US GAAP and/or tax principles. 

Eligibility: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age 

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
