The Junior Logistics Manager position is responsible for coordinating and organizing logistics processes within the company. This position monitors inventory, prepares orders, and plans logistics operations.
A Day in the Life:
- Organizing and coordinating international and domestic transport
- Checking vehicle availability
- Taking steps to optimize the transit time of goods to the customer
- Optimizing and controlling costs, as well as maintaining appropriate documentation
- Monitoring journeys according to the established schedule
- Determining delivery terms (price, quantity), supervising the proper flow of orders, agreeing on order fulfilment and shipment dates with suppliers, and preventing irregularities and threats in delivery
- Supervising the proper flow of documentation (delivery documents, invoices)
- Compliance with implemented internal procedures (IWAY, ISO)
- Daily cooperation with the company's contractors
- Accepting and submitting transport orders
- Verifying transport offers and negotiating transport terms
- Warehouse management (in the future) and on-time delivery, FIFO
- Knowledge of the principles of 6S culture and Lean Manufacturing tools as well as issues related to supply logistics
- Monitoring the warehouse delivery process
- Working in the ERP system
- KPI analysis and performance reporting
- Taking corrective action in crisis situations
- Seeking solutions to reduce costs and improve service quality
- Ongoing collaboration with the warehouse and other departments
- Participation in logistics projects (in the future)
- Warehouse management (in the future)
- Preparing reports for superiors to the extent required
You Bring This Value :
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in logistics
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Expertise in logistics, transportation and warehouse management
- Knowledge of the warehouse management system
- Knowledge of logistics regulations
- Communicative English (spoken and written)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Desired skills and competencies: independence, determination, and good work organization, transparency, stress resistance, self-discipline, analytical skills, problem-solving skills
