Basic Function

Responsible for development and implementation of best practices for Maintenance performance analysis

Roles & Responsibilities

This position in the Central Maintenance organization will provide performance analysis support to the Maintenance Department. Key roles and responsibilities include:
•    Analyze maintenance KPIs and administer monthly meetings to recommend performance improvements
•    Develop and standardize custom performance measures and dashboards as needed by the Maintenance and Reliability departments
•    Compile, summarize, and communicate performance measures to administer a weekly maintenance boardwalk
•    Summarize weekly performance trends for site leadership review
•    Measure and communicate maintenance headcount versus budget targets
•    Support outage and warehouse metric analysis
•    Provide maintenance data for external benchmarking (Solomon and Townsend)
•    Analyze maintenance costs and administer monthly meetings to discuss variances
•    Audit maintenance costs against Accounting procedures and other maintenance process standards
•    Audit work orders created against SAP order type procedure and Accounting cost consistency guide
•    Coordinate annual budgets and monthly forecasts for Routine Maintenance, Program Maintenance, Extraordinary Maintenance, and the Maintenance overhead cost centers
•    Facilitate cost corrections and accruals for Routine Maintenance, Program Maintenance, Extraordinary Maintenance, and the Maintenance overhead cost centers
•    Deliver training on work order types, cost consistency, and the PO Tool

Min. Qualifications

•    Minimum HS diploma or equivalent required
•    Typically, at least 5 years of cost management or analysis role, preferably supporting maintenance, operations, construction, or turnaround projects within a petrochemical or refining facility
•    Demonstrated knowledge of performance indicator concepts including data analytics, data systems, and root cause analysis
•    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively evaluate site maintenance performance and provides recommendations for success
•    Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the aptitude to work cross functionally
•    Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities within strict timelines
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications

•    Power BI dashboard development or programming experience is a plus
•    Meridium experience is a plus
