Quality Manager

Basic Function

•    Lead team to promote the LYB and HSE culture and achieve zero incident
•    Responsible for planning, establishing and implementing QA systems in site to ensure quality conformance meet requirements of customer and IATF16949 system ; 
•    Lead the cross-function team to identify the root cause of the quality issue or customer complaint and workout & follow the implementation of improvement action ; 
•    Lead the cross-function team to drive the continual improvement to meet the increasing quality needs of customers;
•    Focus on the people development to meet the increasing needs of business development and people growing
•    Work as focal point of product safety in the plant.
 

Roles & Responsibilities

1)  Manage and conduct safety operation in QA department, including employees and contractors.  

2) Resource planning and management of quality function to achieve quality targets and objective. 

3) Maintains QS effective, lead the company to achieve ISO9001, IATF16949, GRS, ISCC+ certification, and passes the customer audit.

4) Conduct internal audits and follow up corrective actions. Continuously identify areas of improvement opportunity in both products and processes.

5) Solve the quality problem, handle the customer complaints, and lead the corrective actions and preventive actions implementation. Organize the customer audit from plant side.

6) Develop quality staffs in quality skill and knowledge, define training program for QA technicians and QA engineer, and build up strong quality awareness for the whole factory.

7) Lead QC lab management according to the requirements of test standard.

8) Plan, initiate and implement   management review and action plan follow up.

9) Ensure quality function cost within annual B.P and manage poor quality cost.

10) Focal point for product   safety on site.

Min. Qualifications

Education:
1.    Bachelor university degree or above in Polymer or Material Science, or similar related field; 

Work Experience: 
1.    Minimum 8 years experiences, at least 3 years in quality management, automotive background is preferred
2.    Team management experience at least 3 years
Licenses & Certifications:
1.    Certified IATF 16949 internal auditor is a must;
2.    VDA 6.3 certified auditor is a must
3.    ASQ-CQE/CQM, Certified Green Belt or above is preferred;
4.    Experience of GRS/ISCC+ is preferred;
5.    Problem solving (8D)

2.    Decision Quality: He or she can make good quality decision not only depending on his /her experience or background, but also conducting some logical analysis by use of quality tools, such as fish-bone chart, Plato, FMEA, etc.

3.    Process Management: The execution of requirement of ISO/TS 16949 procedure is the condition of achieving high quality level for the site, so he or she can monitor and make sure all process, procedures and WI can be thoroughly implemented.

4.    Leadership: as a department lead, he or she must be an effective team builder and player, be able to manage diversity, motivate and coach members to agree on common targets and get progress.

5.    Drive the innovation: creating new and better ways for the organization to be more successful on all aspects
Skills:
1.    Strong Safety awareness: occupational and process safety, occupational health & environmental management
2.    Good command of knowledge and skills of automotive ISO/TS. 
3.    Strong coaching and motivational skills.
4.    Strong teamwork and interpersonal skill.
5.    Extensive knowledge of error proofing concepts.
6.    In-depth experience in TQM, Six-sigma or Lean thinking.
7.    Good command of PPAP, MSA, FMEA, APQP, SPC, etc.
8.    Skill of problem solving and quality improvement.
9.    Strong communication and presentation skills

Languages:
1.    Good written and oral communication in English, Mandarin.
