Process Engineer

Basic Function

To support the compounding process in the development and maintenance of processes that 
1) produce products that meet or exceed existing quality standards, efficiencies, and cost targets, 2) address the safety of employees,  and 3) accommodate environmental regulatory requirements for this industry. #LI-RH1

Roles & Responsibilities

•    Setup process conditions for 1.) new products and  2.)  to improve the performance of existing products, includes maintenance of production formulations
•    Explore new process & controls methodologies.
•    Design and implement process improvements to reduce cost and improve, quality, reliability, and safety. 
•    Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
•    Provides technical consultation, formal and informal training, and development of documentation, standards, and procedures in relation to their role
•    Maintaining information, KPI reporting, and presentation of projects and information as required
•    Performs other duties as assigned

Min. Qualifications

Education, Skills & Experience:
•    BS Technical Degree and 5 years experience (includes related co-op or intern experience)
•    Presentation skills
•    Written and oral communication skills.  
•    Computer literacy (WP, SS, DB, Stat, etc.)
•    Good Work ethic
•    Good interpersonal skills
•    Deals well with changing priorities

Languages: English, additional language preferred

Preferred Qualifications

•    BS Chem. or Mech. Engr Degree
•    Corrective action experience
•    Root Cause analysis training
