 Responsible for the execution of maintenance and construction activities utilizing the resident and 3rd party contractors.

A Day in the Life:

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to assigned personnel so as to ensure that maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently to high quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support for technicians to develop technical and leadership skills.
• Collaborate with business unit counterparts to identify future maintenance requirements and continuously improve the effectiveness of maintenance services.
• Responsible for the execution of routine and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Continuously seek out and drive cost reduction projects and best practices related to maintenance functions and work management systems.
• Participate in the development of quality job plans by working with planners and participating in field walk through.
• Participate in the development of weekly and daily work schedules.
• Reviewing schedules and providing constructability feedback, as necessary.
• Leading tool-box Safety Meetings, communicating schedule changes, as necessary, and reviewing job scopes with technicians.
• Interacting with work permitting process as needed and insuring that all applicable safety procedures are followed.
• Approve service entry sheets and update CVO PO Tool; forecasting future spending cost, closing out completed purchase orders and changing delivery dates on rental equipment.
• Identifies craft training needs and communicates contract craftsmen performance issues to appropriate contractor company management. 

You Bring This Value :

• High school diploma is required.
• Typically, a minimum of seven years’ experience, preferably in a petrochemical, refining, manufacturing or equivalent environment OR an Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline with five years of experience.
• I,E&A maintenance experience is preferred.
• Strong supervisory and team motivation skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to delegate and report on activities;
• Proficient personal computer skills, application software skills, and experience with computerized maintenance management systems; SAP and Excel experience is preferred;
• Knowledge of plant policies, specifications, and procedures;
• Strong planning and organization skills;
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and turnarounds (day or night) with short notice.
• Turnaround work (day or night) with short notice.
