BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for translating market requirements on the needs of new products into a development process of new masterbatches for specific country locations and aligned with the company’s vision and mission to exceed customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Contributes to a safe work environment aligned with corporate standards and expectations
- Maintain and monitor documented information in PAD respective area is updated
- Establish APS Technology leadership
- Support sales requests related to new product development and product localization
- Performing masterbatch development following Accolade stages gate process / regional procedure, manage the project (monitor the gate advancement and project duration)
- New products/formula registration and support production scale up
- Provide supporting documents such as a provisional technical data sheet on the approved/new products, composition declaration
- Support new raw material approval process by performing qualification test of raw materials / finished goods
- Review analysis report related Technical service activities and QN investigation
- Oversee the operation of PAD lab/ Technical center and improve its smoothness
- Identify PAD team training need analysis & provide related training
- Control cost within the budgeted value
- Awareness of ISO 14001:2015.
- Awareness of the environmental policy. the significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the work.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the implementation of the Environmental Management System, including the benefits of enhanced environmental performance
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, Polymer or other relevant qualification. Master's & doctorate will be preferable.
Work Experience:
1. Minimum 8 years working experience as a technical / research & development/quality control in polymer, plastic masterbatch, additives, or color, plastics extrusion.
Licenses & Certifications:
1. Basic knowledge of ISO 9001.

Skills:
• Technical skills in knowledge of polymer/plastics extrusion, pigments, and additives, basic organic chemistry, and analytical chemistry.

• Conflict resolution and negotiation; the ability to handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve conflicts.
