Maintenance Technician

Basic Function

The primary objective is to be completely responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of overall plant & Utility equipment, attend to equipment breakdowns, timely identification of cause of equipment breakdown and reduce unnecessary downtime and related losses.

Be in charge of regular inspection of equipment and implement equipment maintenance plan.

To prepare purchase plan of spare parts.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Assure daily operation is in line with HSE requirement and OE std.
2. Keep good housekeeping in Maintenance stores & maintenance room.
3. Responsible for the entire plant high and low voltage distribution cabinet operation and maintenance, carried out to stop transmission switching operation according to maintenance requirements.
4. Implement the mechanical & Electrical maintenance activities with respect to the preventive and predictive maintenance plan
5. Responsible for factory fire-fighting system, the water system, Lifting Tackle, monitoring system, generator, monitoring system, generator, and regular inspection of central air conditioner.
6. Responsible for some of the files management, SAP and maintenance records and updates.
7. To improve functioning of cooling towers, transformers, DG, compressor,  STP, ETP, RO systems, DE, FE, CVS system and other plant utilities.
8. Maintain relevant documentation as per the ISO 9001:2015, EMS 14001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards
9. Performs the duties of the Handover in the maintenance department

Min. Qualifications

Minimum qualification of Diploma (Three year) in electrical, Mechanical and instrumental engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 5 year experience in Maintenance department from multi-national Chemical /engineering company
2. Have strong HSE sense & housekeeping awareness.
3. Be familiar with PLC and DRIVE operation. Be familiar with mechanical automation, electrical diagram, UPS and LED touch panel maintenance and operation.
4. Be familiar with construction and principles of extruder, feeders, Pelletizing system, Conveying System and accessories and with years’ experience on maintenance and fixing.
5. Be familiar with management process of equipment and accessories, be able to analysis root cause of problem and fix basic/regular problems independently.
6. Be familiar with all Utility equipment’s like Transformer, MV Panel, VCB, ACB, DG, Compressor, Cooling tower, STP, ETP, RO plant system, DE/FE/CVS system and firefighting system
7. Be familiar with Lifting Tackle equipment(Like: Fork Lift, HPT, MEWP, Scissor Lift etc..)
