Tax Analyst

  • Coordination of deadlines and preparation of all local tax filings and payments (CVAE tax, organic tax, business tax, property tax, IFU and DAS 2 returns, etc - CVAE, IFU, DAS2, C3S, TF, CFE, etc.)
  • Calculation and filing of income tax instalment payments
  • Ensure coordination with local accounting team and external advisors in preparation of corporate income tax returns (including consolidation returns); perform first level review of corporate income tax returns as prepared by external advisors under co-sourcing or outsourcing arrangements
  • Assist with ad hoc queries from internal business partners
  • Prepare analytics, liaising with appropriate local business and functional team members, with respect to transfer pricing, in coordination with Tax Transfer Pricing team for all intercompany transactions
  • Assist Tax Manager France in automation of processes and coordination with cross-functional team members for relevant data and analytics
  • Support and assist Tax Manager France w/respect to tax litigation and tax audits (collection of information, preparation of replies to tax authorities’ request, preparation of tax audit meetings, coordination with other departments, tax technical research etc.)
  • Assist Tax Manager France with special projects through tax technical research and analysis

 

Experience, Skills, Education Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of tax experience from Big 4 Public Accounting / primary Tax and Law firm and/or international company environment
  • Master’s degree in Tax (French) or equivalent level of education, or qualified as a Tax Lawyer
  • Experience with managing teams within Tax or across functions
  • French native language, English fluent speaker with solid English writing skills
  • Extensive use and knowledge of technology including accounting systems, tax compliance software and Microsoft Office applications; working knowledge of SAP is a plus but not required
  • Self-starter with good communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent team player, ability to build effective relationships within the Tax function globally and across Company functions

Roles & Responsibilities
