The plant is a former family enterprise, small scale, driven by 25 employees with a clear down-to-earth mindset as part of the family organizational culture and is specialized in the treatment of production scraps and purified post-consumer waste in polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), flexible PVC and elastomers (TPE) such as SBS, SEBS, EVA, TPU, etc. The waste streams we treat, originate from the petrochemical and plastic converting industry. After processing, our granules are used in various applications, such as automotive, construction, agriculture, household items, etc.

This is the role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you are responsible for several production and purchase activities. You are the linking pin between production planning, supply chain and commerce. To this purpose, you work in close cooperation with colleagues both at the location and in the Netherlands.

 

Responsibilities
Demand and Supply Planning:

  • Act as a liaison amongst production planning, supply chain and commercial teams, addressing questions and directing requests related to the production status and planning of the site
  • Collaborate across teams -in support of the operations team- in Tournai as well as with the QCP site (NL) and EU Headquarters in Rotterdam (NL)
  • Perform physical inventory of raw materials and additives in the factory.

Raw Material Planning:

  • Create and follow up on purchase orders for raw materials
  • Plan and monitor external storage of incoming or outgoing end products
  • Plan, execute and follow up on inventory counts including corrections and corrective actions
  • Manage transportation call-off and storage usage, specifically for waste, incl interfaces with carriers and Supply Chain EMEAI
  • Manage quality data in SAP.

Finished Goods Production Planning:

  • Participate in the demand and supply planning process in cooperation with the Business
  • Carry out planning activities in SAP and other systems (eg Excel)
  • Create and manage production planning at product level in SAP
  • Monitor and evaluate optimal versus planned versus actual performance
  • Identify important supply and demand risks, incl development and/or implementation of contingency plans
  • Support real-time decision-making by conducting timely assessments of raw materials, product mix and supply & demand.

Order to cash process:

  • Act as the main point of contact for the Business in terms of product availability
  • Monitor sales orders and finished goods availability to support timely delivery
  • Dispatch and follow-up of transport
  • Focus on optimizing supply chain processes to prevent out-of-stock situations and enhance customer service
  • Maintaining transportation and freight related data in SAP.

Business Support:

  • Next to the operational responsibilities, you initiate and support the Plant Management team in diverse projects and plant related activities.

 You are a good communicator and have no trouble with connecting with your customers, both internally and externally. Furthermore you have string numerical insights and are stress-resistant.

This is what you bring

  • A Bachelor degree (eg in Logistics, Accounting or Economics) or similar due to experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, such as supply chain planning, customer service, production planning
  • Knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP systems) is considered a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Language knowledge: French and English, it's an advantage if you also speak Dutch
