Production Engineer

Basic Function

Supervise and maintain production and maintenance functions in a safe and efficient manner by implementing and following production and maintenance guidelines, procedures and policies for the purpose of operational excellence and meeting customer requirements regarding the quality of products and on-time full delivery at LYB.

Roles & Responsibilities

General
•    Supervise  and back up the production activities of planning, monitoring and coordinating with concerned functions to ensure on-time delivery production of right quality products at minimal operating cost with site manager.
•    Prepare the monthly report to Site Manager by including the statistic figures of attendance, daily, weekly, monthly working hour, production amounts, MTTR, MTBF and overtime to able to measure the performance of the shift supervisor, maintenance technicians and production operators.
•    Assist on implementing HSEQ standards with EHSQ Leader.
•    Lead and drive to implement improvement projects and MOC in production.
•    Lead and drive to implement lean tools such as process mapping, fish bone, 5why, spaghetti diagram and SMED, etc. 
•    Co-ordinate with other functions for getting the supplied RM’s and spare parts that used in many purposes for production & maintenance processes to ensure their available.
•    Monitor the production planning and control the production and filling operations,
•    Improve the production efficiency by determining the necessary equipment and staff,
•    Manage the activities of the production and maintenance department by requesting relevant trainings from certified internal or external trainers to ensure proper training has been given to operators and implementing procedures to ensure that LYB HSEQ standards and government regulations are followed.
•    Maintain all machinery and equipment at LYB CZO Cerkezkoy factory by monitoring systems and using the preventive maintenance plan to ensure all systems are in good condition.
•    Be the technical contact on outsourcing contractors for special maintenance services.
•    Tracking of repair machinery and equipment at LYB CZO Cerkezkoy factory with coordination maintenance team, 
•    Follow up maintenance history record to ensure the Equipment database is updated.
•    Follow up calibration records of relevant equipment’s that are gained by qualified technicians.
•    Follow up spare part inventory regularly with SAP system and order needed spare parts on time in full.
•    Responsible for the firefighting system maintenance and file this maintenance jobs documentation and, follow up after service and schedule internal fire training in coordination with HSEQ team lead.

Min. Qualifications

Education
•    Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineer
•    MBA is a preference

Work Experience 
•    5+ years of Production and/or Maintenance experience 

Preferred Qualifications

Area of Expertise, Requirements
•    5 years of experience in production sector preferably from chemical industry 
•    SAP knowledge is a must
•    Lean knowledge is a plus
•    Fluent in English
•    Residential in Cerkezkoy area(or willing to move)
