Maintenance Manager

Basic Function

    To ensure that site Maintenance activities in comply with current and future legal and regulatory requirements and with Lyondellbasell policies and procedures. 
    To have strong sense in HSE and comply with Site HSE procedure. 
    To have strong awareness in 5S. 
    He needs to enhance his ability in PPC technology in equipment and facility continuous and train the maintenance technician. 

Roles & Responsibilities


1.    Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out according to the company’s HSE policy and procedures and within Chinese legislation
2.    Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out at maximum efficiency, promote improvement in work practices led to better HSE performance, quality and achieved the maintenance KPI’s 

3.    Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance Plan and Predictive Maintenance plan for related equipment

4.    Maintain records and documentation for equipment, spare parts and performance records necessary to keep the plant performance at a high level 

5.    Provide constructive idea and solution to the related equipment which is hidden design flaws, influence of the production efficiency and HSE issues. 

6.    Provide technical support to solve the Equipment Emergency fault and organize the technicians to analysis and find out the root cause of the failure. 

7.    Ensure that relevant equipment inspections / calibrations required by the company’s quality, safety and environmental procedures and Chinese legislations are completed on time.

8.    New project and equipment introduced follow-ups closely and make the mechanical acceptance go smoothly and effectively.  

9.    Maintenance Cost manage and follow-up under budget. Continuously improve production process and facilities to meet EHS requirement, enhance productivity and reduce production cost. 

10.    OE and GAIS procedure and standard are maintained in a high level

11.    Train the staff  in  routine maintenance and production tasks

12.    Develop staffs in skill and knowledge, Define training and build up good team surrounding.
 

Min. Qualifications

Education:

1. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar related field. 

Work Experience:
1.    Minimum of 10 years experiences in multinational company, preferably in the Manufacturing in Chemical or Advanced Polymers industry. 
Critical Competencies/Behaviors:

1.    Strong working knowledge of reliability concepts (such as defect elimination, reliability-centered maintenance, root-cause failure analysis, failure mode and effect analysis, etc.) is necessary
2.    Must have a teamwork-orientation to work well with all parts of the organization.
3.    Ability to coach and mentor junior engineers/technicians and maintenance leadership in the principles of defect elimination and ongoing predictive and preventive maintenance of facilities.
4.    Knowledge of industrial and corporate codes and standards.
5.    Work planning, scheduling experience.
6.    Familiarity and understanding of quality requirements.
7.    Experienced with rotating process equipment, power transmission, and electrics.
8.    Familiar with Fire Codes, Safety Codes, ISO Procedures.
9.    Experienced with maintenance equipment, instrument calibration equipment.
Skills:
1.    Broad-based Chemical industry experience including experience in technical service/engineering. Commitment to, and sound knowledge of, Occupational and Process safety, occupational health & environmental management 
2.    Be skilled in Auto-Cad 
3.    Be skilled in SAP

Languages:
1.    Excellent in written and spoken English and Malay.
